Overview

Promotional video that introduces the new GT-01S Openwork Tourbillon, a timepiece of the highest quality movement produced in Switzerland.

The Client

A quirky, Swiss watch brand that goes outside of the ordinary and is relentlessly aiming to create quality like you have never seen before. We were honored to be contacted by Aventi to work together on this thrilling video and help them find their place among the watchmaking giants.

The Location

Just like the image of the brand, we wanted the image of the video to be a bit darker and cutting edge. With a minimalistic and futuristic watchmaker environment created in our studio in Zürich and the movement product shorts captured with our motion control expertise, we were able to create a stunning promotional video.

The Timing

We recorded the entire video in our studio in which we have all the required gear and light settings for filming promotional videos. After we added the final touches in the video post-production, the complete project was finalized by the set deadline in December, 2021, meeting all of our client's expectations.

About the Brand

Aventi is as unusual as it gets, not only is their design unusual, their way of doing things is too. The brand doesn’t seem to have offices, boutiques, workshops nor watchmakers. There is nothing ordinary about Aventi. So how do they accomplish such great things then?

In Aventi, they’re simply using the best talents and partners from around the world and invite them to work on joint projects from where they are. Such coordination is not always easy and it takes an awful lot of planning but is resulting in greatness. Each timepiece produced is rare. Each timepiece is special. Therefore, we suggested a promotional video that will be dynamical and mysterious.

High quality movements, accuracy, reliability, high-level finishing, efficiency - a grand complication for everyday wear.

All of the 63 components used to create GT-01S Openwork Tourbillon were hand assembled and tested in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, in partnership with the master watchmaker Olivier Mory. Unlike a traditional tourbillon, which has an average of 40 components, the GT-01S tourbillon cage has only 18, which greatly assisted with the reliability and efficiency of the movement. Besides the promo video, we also made shots of each one of these components highlighting the masterful craft asembling the watch.

This timepiece is protected by a medical-grade carbon black coating and is decorated with deep gold engaving. Besides the luxurious choice of black and gold, you can also find two rubies, glowing as red eyes staring back at you from the signature skull on the dial. Each ruby is hand-picked and later confirmed and tested for authenticity with IGI for each selection. It was truly amazing making a product video of this watchmaking masterpiece.

Thank you, Aventi
