The Service

We have been working with EsperLuxe in the role of their lead video agency. This includes filming and recording various videos, as well as creating bi-weekly content for their YouTube channel.

The Creative Process & The Brand

In order to give our audience a clear introspective into our processes and how we work, we have decided to create a quick sample of how we were able to help out Swiss Watch Gang. A key goal of Effekt Agency is to demistify a creative agency’s process and involvement, in order to create transparency and trust between clients and agencies.

About the Brand

Due to the fact that most of EsperLuxe’s customer acquisition happens online, at a global scale, unique content is of their highest priority. After years of building their Instagram and  Facebook accounts we advised them to focus their attention also on YouTube. 

To expand the online buying experience we deliberately started creating watch reviews so their clientele visually gets a good grasp of the product from all perspectives. The videos are used as a sales tool for customers as well as an educational tool for watch enthusiasts on his website & YouTube.

The YouTube Channel

Step 01

Pre-Production

All videos are planned and discussed with EsperLuxe and their brands in advance. Together we discuss the product, topic of the video and other ideas to make the video as valuable as possible for their platforms. For the video format we decided to create reviews with a voiceover which is recorded in a studio in the US and the products are filmed in our studio in Zürich, Switzerland.

Step 02

Production

For a video we take about 1-2 days for the script, voice over and logistics, 1 day of filming, 2 days of editing and color correction.

After the video is finalized we start with the YouTube optimization which includes the custom thumbnail creation, intriguing video title, video description, video tag analysis and adding the cards and end screen buttons.

Step 03

Post-Production

We create teasers for each video, which is distributed on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. (9:16 Size Format for Instagram Story with custom graphics + 4:5 Size Format for Instagram Post)

The main types of videos that we are creating for EsperLuxe are watch reviews with custom graphics.

Videos are produced at least 2-3 weeks before publishing.

After-care

For a video we take about 1-2 days for the script, voice over and logistics, 1 day of filming, 2 days of editing and color correction.

After the video is finalized we start with the YouTube optimization which includes the custom thumbnail creation, intriguing video title, video description, video tag analysis and adding the cards and end screen buttons.

The Results

Our efforts have generated results. We’ve been closely monitoring the statistics of the videos in order to be able to make minute adjustments that would influence the videos performance. Below, we will share a few things that have happened since we launched the first video, on the 12th of August 2019.

It has always been our greatest pleasure working with Marko, the face and brains behind Swiss Watch Gang. Sharing the qualitative art of watchmaking with a qualitative presentation, we think that Marko definitely helps to bring the industry to a much wider audience.

The Client

Swiss Watch Gang has started building the @swisswatchgang on several social media platforms in the year 2017. Ever since, it has provided its quality-hungry audience with a glimpse from the world of high-end luxury watches, focusing especially on independent and boutique watchmaking.

The Service

We have been working with Swiss Watch Gang as the brand's lead agency. That includes creating the brand identity of the company, as well as subsequent applications and the bi-weekly production of content for the company's YouTube channel, so far creating well over 60 videos in total.

The Creative Process & The Brand

In order to give our audience a clear introspective into our processes and how we work, we have decided to create a quick sample of how we were able to help out Swiss Watch Gang. A key goal of Effekt Agency is to demistify a creative agency’s process and involvement, in order to create transparency and trust between clients and agencies.

About the Brand

From Swiss watches, to international watchmakers, Swiss Watch Gang’s goal is to nurture the world of watches and teach the new generation all about it.

Apart from working with other content creators, the company also works in partnership with many brands, where the goal is to create intriguing and educational content. After production, they share it on all of their social media platforms, helping the brands extend their reach on Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and TikTok. 

The Brand Identity

Due to the confidential nature of some of the briefings between us and our clients, we will only list a few examples, ensuring transparency without spilling all of the company’s secrets to its success. (Hint: It’s really boils down to hard work.) This also ensures that the company will be able to keep its audience on their toes with it’s future projects.

Step 01

Research

The first step in creating the brand identity was a thorough research phase, in which we sat down with Swiss Watch Gang and talked about their goals, feel, voice, motivations, philosophy and positioning.

All of this information helps us make designs that are more relevant and stand out, while also giving you an idea of what position your company can take in the industry space.

Step 02

Logo Design & Type

Having gathered the relevant information and art direction, we crafted a logo that has fit the attributes that Swiss Watch Gang and its audience would be drawn to. We have also identified the typography and color palettes to be used with the final logo and as usual, we gave the client multiple choices to choose from.

Step 03

Deliverables

The final step of the process was to create the printable deliverables for the brand. Since the brand’s presence is focusing on digital media, we were focused on creating just a few physical examples and also focused on animated content for the YouTube channel, such as the animated logo, banners, lower thirds for introducing guests and more.

The YouTube Channel

We started working on the YouTube Channel in April 2019. The first YouTube video went live on the 12th of August 2019. In our studio in Zürich, we built a physical set for the YouTube Channel to make that we keep the brand identity inside for the videos, even on an environment level, pristine and consistent.

Overview

This product video features a mysterious play of light that teases the product in an otherworldly fashion. We think of the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon as a truly fascinating watch, with, hopefully, a truly fascinating video to match.

The Product

The extremely innovative brand Cyrus Watches had contacted us in order to help them show off their latest innovation - the world's first skeletonised wristwatch with a centrally aligned vertical tourbillon. Needles to say, we accepted.

The Location

The shots were captured in our custom studio in Zürich, which gives us maximal control over every light source and reflection, providing a perfect environment for capturing product footage.

The Timing

Our studio set up has become further refined, allowing us to capture footage at maximal quality, within a minimum time frame. The entire project was done between May and June 2020.

About the Brand

The watch industry has numerous master craftsmen, yet few companies are driven by innovation as much as Cyrus watches.

This independent Swiss watch manufacturer makes sure not to hide that fact, accordingly, their mission statement is simply “the conquest of innovation”. This can clearly be seen in their latest work, the Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon Skeleton.

Light typography is tastefully added to the footage, in order to convey relevant information, without overpowering the innate beauty of the watch.

The Klepcys Vertical Tourbillon wristwatch is the first wristwatch to feature a centrally aligned vertical tourbillon – an addition to the mechanics of a watch escapement that increases accuracy.

Due to wrist watches being relatively small, this is quite a feat. We really wanted to emphasize this beautiful, one of a kind feature within our video, so our script was built from the ground up with the tourbillon in mind.

Overview

The perfect control of lighting conditions in our studio has

The Client

Armin Strom is an innovative independent Swiss watchmaker, that is renowned for creating beautifully crafted skeletonized watches, which have been the core of their brand since 1967.

The Location

The footage was shot in our custom studio in Zürich, which gives us maximal control over every light source and reflection, providing a perfect environment for capturing product footage.

The Timing

Because we were filming at only one location, we had the the logistical benefit, that enabled us to complete the entire project, from start to finish, in January 2020.

About the Brand

Mister Armin Storm is a legend in the watch industry, watches carrying the Armin Storm name and symbol were first launched in 1967.

Thanks to it’s intricate design, the brand soon became extremely well known for its skeletonized watches, which are the core of the company even today.

The attention given to lighting, reflections and color correction, results in a beautifully flow from dark to light. ​

The Gravity Equal Force is a staple of Armin Storm’s ferocious approach to innovation and pushing the boundaries, as it is the first watch to featuer a stop-work declutch mechanism combined with an automatic winding mechanism, resulting in extremely smooth power delivery.

On top of that, the brand is, once again, true to it’s name, and features a beautiful, skeletonized design.

This video focuses on cinematographic shots revolving around the modern,
environmentally conscious luxury watch wearer.

The Client

Beyer Chronometrie requested help with creating an interesting teaser for their second-hand luxury watch selling service. As usual, we were more than excited to oblige.

The Location

The video is a mix of the picturesque urban environment found in Zürich, Switzerland, mixed with the breathtaking skylines of New York, USA. In other words, class, meets the modern world.

The Timing

Due to the video being filmed in two different continents, we started filming in early September, 2019 and delivered the final piece by the end of October, 2019.

About the Brand

Beyer Chronometrie, among its many achievements, holds one of the most impressive ones, by having the world’s oldest watch store in the entire world.

Their famous second-hand store Trouvaillen, has been established in the year 2004. Like the translation of the name implies, it is truly a treasure for the watch industry.

An energetic, cinematic edit that attempts to subtly shift the stigma associated with second-hand goods.

By focusing on selling second-hand watches with certificates of excellence, Beyer Chronometrie offers a service that benefits both the user and the environment at the same time.

In an effort to prove that the stigma attached with second-hand products is unfounded, we have decided to capture beautiful shots, mix them with smooth swing music and show just how timeless expertly-crafted products actually are.

The corporate video for Novak M features beautiful shots combined with a sincere message.

The Client

We were contacted by a returning client, Novak M, to create a corporate video that reveals their beliefs and their mission to its users and its clientele.

The Location

The video features a variety of filming locations, including the Headquarters of Novak M in Slovenia, as well as their branch offices in Switzerland and Germany. To top this off, we were also present in various hospitals and medical institutions that use Novak M's equipment all across Europe.

The Timing

The concept phase started in February of 2019, due to the logistics of filming in various countries, the production phase took place from February to July of 2019. The post production phase took place in August 2019, bringing the project to an end.

About the Brand

Novak M’s mission is to help professionals and patients worldwide by providing treatment opportunities at a higher level.

They design innovative medical equipment based on their users’ feedback and needs while also constantly looking for new solutions to support changes in various healthcare processes.

A passionate message combined with non-fabricated footage filmed across the old continent.

In this corporate video, we wanted to focus on the company’s primary mission and beliefs, helping their users and future equipment owners understand the design theory behind their creations.

We believe that an honest, transparent approach and clear communication help companies make meaningful connections and create partnerships that benefit the end user, which is especially important in fields such as healthcare, since the patients need to be as comfortable as possible in order to promote faster recovery.

We were once again approached by our returning client, Chronoswiss, to help them showcase their latest premium Regulator Classic Collection.

The Location

The video was shot in our custom-built studio, which is specifically designed for shooting smaller, premium products. The studio enables us to control every aspect of the shot, ensuring render-like quality.

The Timing

The entirety of the project took place in September 2019, making for a swift on-time delivery that helped the client showcase the Regulator Classic Collection at a perfect time for a maximum sales impact.

About the Brand

Chronoswiss’s Regulator Classic Collection continues to show off the skill of the masterful designers working at the company. The entire Collection screams Chronoswiss and can hardly be mistaken for another brand.

It’s iconic, large onion crown, combined with the elegant curves show, that a premium product is developed with careful craftsmanship, not over-the-top, screaming features.

A smoothly-flowing, dynamic edit, that expands upon the subtle color palette of the Regulator Classic.

Due to the light color palette and elegant design of the collection, we focused on showcasing the elegant features with the help of dramatic lighting.

The contrast between the collection’s light, beautifully curved surfaces is best emphasized with the deep shadows stemming from the studio’s controlled, dark atmosphere.

The Client

Swiss Watch Gang is the leading company focused on seeking out the craziest, most unique and beautiful luxury watches on the planet, located in the very heart of the industry, Switzerland.

The Location

The majority of the footage was shot in the beautiful city of Zürich and our studio located in Zürich. Secondary inserts were captured at Baselword 2019.

The Timing

The video footage was shot across multiple shooting days from March to June 2019. Due to the client's wishes, the post production was completed in the August of 2019.

About the Brand

Swiss Watch Gang has been providing luxury watch enthusiasts with stunning photography of the world’s finest luxurious watches since 2016.

Our repeated collaborations have drawn us closer together and we were contacted to craft the company’s first corporate video, revealing the man behind the scenes and his story.

A passionate, tense and sophisticated corporate reveal video narrated by the person behind Swiss Watch Gang.

The video focuses on sharing Marko’s captivating story with his audience – old and new – enabling the viewer to get a glimpse of the face behind the brand.

Thanks to the establishing footage, mixed with cutouts from Marko’s everyday life being combined in a beautifully flowing edit, that just explodes with enthusiasm, passion and honesty.

The Client

We were contacted by a returning client, Postojna Cave, to make a video that encompasses their entire tourist offer of all of their combined locations.

The Location

The shooting locations were spread on multiple locations, including Predjama, Pivka, Postojna Cave, Postojna Expo, Vivarium and more.

The Timing

The concept phase started towards the end of April 2018, since we were chasing beautiful weather and different moods of nature, the final video was delivered in October 2018.

About the Brand

Postojna Cave Park has expanded into multiple beautiful tourist locations, all located within 10km of each other, but each offering a unique scenery and environment.

The attractions encompass the actual Park of Postojna, Postjna Cave, Predjama Castle, Pivka Caves and the Vivarium and Expo located near the enterance to Postojna Cave.

An emotional soundtrack supports the beautiful visuals of some of Slovenia’s most breath-taking tourist attractions.

The goal was to promote Postojna Cave’s efforts to preserve the beautiful natural and architectural heritage, putting it always before profits, so that many generations can enjoy it to the fullest.

This careful approach can be felt throughout all locations, where a lot of questioned visitors were simply charmed by it’s surrounding beauty and peacefulness.

Overview

A mysterious city being discovered by a cute protagonist.

The Client

We were contacted by Wololo to create a 3D animated short about the characters of their brand new board game, Cryptomania.

The Location

The entire short was created in our Offices in Zurich. We outsourced the sound design and tracks, which were created in Slovenia.

The Timing

The concept phase started towards the end of March 2018, with the final project being delivered on the 1st of June, 2018.

About the Brand

Having lots of friends and family who didn’t understand their interest in crypto, Wololo tried to think of the best and simplest possible way to teach them the basics of crypto trading.

They came up with the idea of mixing in a little fun by turning it into a board game that will let them experience the thrilling world of crypto first-hand!

A delightful short that combines the mystery of exploring a new world, with the concepts of Crypto.

The game simulates the spine-tingling thrill of trading and mining cryptocurrencies by combining play money with physical coins that represent cryptocurrencies.

To spice things up further, the game board is filled with hazards such hacking attacks, sudden market shutdowns, power outages, and a bunch of other dangers faced by real-world crypto traders and miners every day.
